These were a popular forerunner to today’s omnipresent barrel-leg pants. They feature a flat front and elasticated back waistband, really cool, deep pockets at the hip, and darts at the inner knee. I made these from a mid-weight striped cotton twill. I was obsessed with this pattern but gave up before I really got it to work for me and switched over to the much easier-to-make Style Arc Bob pants, but I really need to give these another go because the details on these are really top notch. Maybe I’ll get to that this winter.
